What this pool is mining

A block template is the work the pool hands its miners: which block height to build, on top of which tip, at what difficulty, and which transactions to include. A new one is recorded whenever that work materially changes — a new tip, a different fee total, a different transaction set. Repeated polls of unchanged work are not recorded.
